Performance at Liverpool Central Library with 4Wings and Maritime Lodge project

LUMA CREATIONS DELIVERS PROJECTS THROUGHOUT THE YEAR IN PARTNERSHIP WITH A NUMBER OF ORGANISATIONS & GROUPS.

Projects we are delivering at the moment include:

AMISTAD (Friendship)– A two-year community project working with Latin American Families, Refugees & Asylum Seekers and the Elderly which aims to use the arts & creativity to bring communities together and enhance the health & wellbeing of the participants. This project is funded by the Lotteries Communities Fund

A CHILEAN STORY – Researching the history of Chileans and the Chilean community in the Liverpool City region from 1970 to present day. This project is funded by the Heritage Lotteries Fund

STORY TELLING – A project that presents two stories, “Little Ears” (by Oscar Carrasco) and “El Pajaro Cantor” (by Francisco Carrasco). The project includes a Liverpool Libraries tour and workshops for KS1 & KS2.

FIESTA LATINA – A Weekend of Latin American arts & culture incorporating live music, dance & storytelling performances, talks about Latin American Women artists, an exhibition, workshops and arts activities. We delivered one weekend in May at Liverpool Central Library and will be delivering a major weekend at The Arts Centre, Edge Hill University on 18 & 19 October 2019.
